Exhibitor Spotlight: ThunderBolt™ International Inc.
ThunderBolt™ International Inc. (TBI) is a Woman-owned and operated business manufacturing ThunderBolt™ Storm and Lightning Detector and StormVector AWS (Area Warning System). ThunderBolt lightning detection technology provides real-world and real-time applications for independent storm detection.
TBI’s technology saves lives, prevents injury and reduces property losses by alerting customers to severe weather systems and dangerous conditions. Our products detect severe weather within a 75-125 mile radius and activate visual and audio warning systems with sufficient lead-time to execute safety plans. Our products are proudly made in America.
TBI markets worldwide and users include the U.S. military, large industrial firms such as the mining and oil and gas industries, commercial and public safety applications, and schools and universities.
ThunderBolt Storm & Lightning Detector is a portable hand-held device which detects and tracks lightning from 75-125 miles in real time. Handheld ThunderBolt provides the user both ETA and Estimated Time to Clear, allowing disaster response teams to safely maximize work before the storm and minimize downtime after the storm. Thunderbolt is ideal for manning key personnel with units in isolated or widespread applications.
StormVector Emergency Response System provides facility scale area wide systems with fastest reaction to any emergency threat, for any size facility. Designed to communicate real-time localized lightning, thunderstorm, and squall line warnings across an extended area. StormVector Base Station communicates storm warnings to a series of portable warning nodes and pager-like pods. The AWS technology is modular and connected through either 900 MHz or 2.4GHz wireless communication channels. The control unit and warning beacons communicate with encrypted data streams, insuring both internal security for the data as well as immunity from communication overlap from other networks in the vicinity. System deployment is as easy as place and power, making it ideal for an evolving disaster response situation.
