About the company:
Envirogencat, LLC designs, manufactures and markets emission
control devices for small spark ignited gasoline engines from its Florida based
headquarters and manufacturing facility. Gencat, a catalytic muffler was
invented in 2005 by Robert Aratari in response to illnesses and deaths caused
by CO poisoning from residential generators in use to counter the power
failures caused by Hurricane Wilma. Envirogencat™ is a leader in the reduction
of harmful emissions such as Carbon Monoxide (CO) Hydrocarbons (HC) and
Nitrates of Oxide (NOx). Envirogencat has been selling Gencat to the emergency
response industry for over five years. The Gencat has now become a very
important tool to keep first responders and their victims safe. The Company
will introduce an emission control device for diesel based generators
(Gencat™-D) in 2013.
The Product Description:
Gencat™ Is a bolt-on replacement catalytic muffler for all
gasoline / propane powered engines that reduces carbon monoxide by 99%.
Gencat™ is based on proven technology which has undergone years of continuous
development and testing and has been tested by a certified by a EPA/CARB
ISO9000 Laboratory showing a 99.1 reduction on carbon monoxide emissions. The
Gencat is easy to install utilizing OE mounting hardware and can be installed
in minutes Gasoline /Propane powered Engines are used for a wide
variety of applications are responsible for thousands of poisoning deaths and
illnesses yearly on a worldwide basis as well as contributing to pollution and
are estimated to account for up to 30% of greenhouse gas creation worldwide.
Gencat catalytic mufflers have been tested and approved for use by Fire
Fighters in the United States and around the world.
