West Baton Rouge took delivery of their Mobile Emergency Operations Center just in time for Hurricane Isaac. The 45’ MEOC is built with a Ferrara all welded custom body and three slide-outs. Their huge front conference room can hold more than a dozen command staff and the numerous TVs located around the room allow the staff to view external events. The center has a bathroom, galley, fully loaded electronic racks, and plenty of storage. The rear communications suite has on board computers to run CAD with ten TV/Monitors. The weather station is networked and viewable from every monitor. The cellular and satellite connectivity along with the interoperability and second mast with a point to point tracking data dish will ensure they can continue communication under the most severe conditions. A few key features include: (3) Flat-floor slide out rooms, LDV Intel-I-Touch multiplex electrical control system with (2) 7” LCD touch-screens, 2 Heavy duty Masts with camera, Perimeter surveillance system, and modulated audio and video.

"We attended last year and found it was a really great opportunity to reconnect with some customers and departments we haven’t seen in quite a while. We are excited for the second year and look forward to meeting new customers and maintaining our current relationships."
